Who can enrol in school holiday programs at the Y?
Children aged five to 12 years who are enrolled in primary school can enrol in our holiday programs. Even if your child isn't a student at the school where the holiday program is based, they can still enrol. It's a great way for them to make new friends outside of their school group, and our team will ensure they feel welcome and supported.

Arrival and pick-up
-
When should I drop off my child?
Drop-off times depend on whether your child is attending an in-house activity, incursion or excursion. Typically, you should arrive by 9:00am for in-house days and incursions, and 8:30am for excursions. Some excursions may require an earlier arrival time, so please call the on-site team for more information.
-
What if I'm running late to pick up my child?
We understand that sometimes things happen and you may be running late for pick-up. If this happens, please call the holiday program to let them know (you can find their contact details on their location page). An educator will stay with your child until they're collected, so don't worry.
In the event that you can't collect your child, please arrange for someone else to do so and inform the holiday program team. For safety reasons, your child can only be collected by an authorised person so please ensure their name and contact number is in your child's enrolment record and that they bring photo ID such as a current driver's licence.
If your child isn't collected by the end of the session / closing time, a late fee of $2.00 per minute may be charged. If we haven't heard from you, we'll attempt to contact you by phone. If we can't reach you, we'll try to contact your nominated emergency person (or people). If no contact has been made 30 to 45 minutes after closing time, the local police will be called.
